It started with tour bookings in Negombo.
In September 2018 Kasun took a job as Digital Media Executive at Ayubowan Tours, trying to get a Sri Lankan travel company found by people searching from Europe. Everything WireCabin does now is built on what that work taught.

Inbound travel search for a Sri Lankan tour operator. The audience was in Britain, Germany and Australia, booking months ahead, in languages and time zones that had nothing to do with local search behaviour. That is where the habit of separating research traffic from booking intent came from.

Registered as a company in Sri Lanka and started taking on clients directly. The work widened from travel into local services, e-commerce and education, and from SEO alone into Google Ads and Meta, because running them together turned out to shorten the guessing period considerably.

That constraint is the reason the approach is relevance-led rather than spend-led: when you cannot outspend anyone, relevance and page structure are the only levers left. What we will not do
Worth stating plainly, because most of it is on offer elsewhere in this market and it tends to be sold hardest to the people least able to evaluate it.
Guaranteed rankings. Nobody controls Google's results. A guarantee is either meaningless small print or a promise to target terms so obscure that ranking for them proves nothing.
Private blog networks and bulk directory packages. They produce a short-lived lift and a long-lived liability. Cleaning up a toxic backlink profile costs more than earning good links would have.
Percentage-of-spend ad fees. They reward the agency for spending more of your money, which is precisely wrong when the correct advice is often to spend less.
Long lock-in contracts. Work here is month to month with 30 days' notice. A minimum term mainly protects the agency from clients wanting to leave.

Who actually does the work?
Kasun handles search strategy, Google Ads and SEO account work directly. Hemal covers development and technical SEO analysis, and Gihan works on client builds. There is no account manager layer, which means you talk to the person making the decisions on your account.
How long has WireCabin been running?
Kasun started in search in September 2018 as Digital Media Executive at Ayubowan Tours in Negombo, and founded WireCabin (PVT) LTD in 2019. The company is registered in Sri Lanka under PV00251411.
Why tourism and travel?
Because that is where the work started and where eight years of pattern recognition sits. Knowing that European booking demand builds from October, or that airport-proximity searches behave differently from ordinary local searches, is the kind of thing that takes years to learn and cannot be picked up from a keyword tool.
Do you work with clients outside Sri Lanka?
Yes. UK and Australian clients are a meaningful part of the work, handled remotely with calls on WhatsApp or Google Meet. Competing in the UK from Sri Lanka forces a relevance-led approach rather than a spend-led one, which tends to benefit the Sri Lankan clients too.
What do you not do?
Guaranteed rankings, private blog networks, bulk directory submissions and long lock-in contracts. Each of those either does not work or stops working, and the clean-up costs more than the original engagement.
